Customer Service Engineer (192/002)


Description Fonction

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you install, commission and maintain the different products and solutions which our company implements for major customers. You will very quickly take on board new technologies which we integrate in our global solutions and participate in the implementation of specific projects. Your main responsibilities are as follows :

1. Maintenance

- Execute first and second line corrective maintenance following acceptance or handover 24H/7D in the Benelux (but mainly in Belgium during office hours) on different products / technologies.

- Identify, log, describe, escalate and follow up all issues reported until resolution.

- Carry out preventive visits based on a predefined schedule following maintenance contracts.

- Input on spare management.

- Update site documentation after interventions (software release, installed base…).

- Perform updates/ MAC on existing installations.

2. Project Based

- Implementation of projects:
o Prepare future installations in lab environment and ensure Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) before installation.

o Install and commission the solution at the customer site.

o Provide users and Administrator training sessions.

o Ensure site acceptance tests (SAT) signed by the customer for approval.

o Act as PM for “small” projects if no dedicated PM is defined.

o Identify, log, describe, escalate and follow up until resolution all issues arising during project implementations.

o Document the installation (As-built).

- Perform upgrades on existing installations.

- Participate in Virtual Project Team (VPT) for project implementation, demo, proof of concept.


3. Administration

- Report about daily activities to managers in order to allow the company to:
o Report to customer about problem resolution.

o Report to PM about project costs and evolution.

o Report to the management about Quality of the Service, risks, profitability of projects.

- Keep managers and help desk aware of all activities in order to allow better time management of the service team.

Work in close collaboration with the helpdesk and team members in order to guarantee ticket follow up and reporting.

Profil

- You possess a Master degree in Telecommunication or ICT with at least 2 years experience in a similar position.

- You have an experience and a sound technical and ICT knowledge with Voice solutions : Nice (NPX, Nice Perform, Nice Inform…), VOIP, PABX.

- You show an excellent knowledge and understanding of the telecom sector (integrated network-based Voice, Data and Video solutions).

- You demonstrate a perfect command of Dutch of French, with good knowledge of technical English and of your second national language (Dutch or French).

- You are a true team player with good communication skills, positive as well as flexible minded.

- You are organized and able to work autonomously.
