Description Fonction

The position is based at the XDC Headquarters in Liege, Belgium, which is situated in the valley of the Meuse River near Belgium's eastern borders with the Netherlands and Germany.

We are currently seeking several highly motivated Customer Service Technicians with all levels of experience to join our Customer Support Team.

The Customer Service Technician will be responsible for the support of Digital Cinema Projection systems at our customer sites.

The Technician will liaise and work with the following suppliers:
- Barco Digital Projectors and Servers

- MasterImage 3D Systems

- Christie Digital Projectors

- RealD 3D Systems

- NEC Digital Projectors

- Dolby Digital Server and 3D System

- Doremi Digital Cinema Servers

- DBox Dynamic Seating Systems

- SmartJog Satellite and Library Management Systems

- Arqiva Satellite and Library Management Systems
Other suppliers may be added as the business grows.

The primary responsibilities :
- Provide superior customer service to Cinema Exhibitors.

- Resolve Customers issues quickly and effectively.

- Use network management, monitoring and trouble isolation tools, to gather and interpret information, in order to successfully identify, understand and resolve customer problems.

- Proactively understand and troubleshoot digital cinema systems and technologies, through training and field experience.

- Keep customers and management updated on efforts aimed at restoration of services.

- Maintain accurate logs of trouble shooting and problem resolution.

Other Possible Responsibilities depending upon the Candidate :
- Identify and lead projects that will improve Customer Service.

- Repair failed Digital Cinema Equipment such as DCI Compliant Projectors and Servers on-site and in the office.

- Install Digital Systems at Customers' Cinemas, on-site.

- Act as Technical Account Manager for strategic customers.

- Develop Training Materials.

- Deliver Training.

Profil

- A/V or IT Background.

- Experience with Digital Cinema Technology.

- Customer Service and Support Experience.

- Experience with Digital Cinema Technology a plus

- Multilingual (Any European Language + English. German and Dutch a plus).

- Excellent technical problem solving, troubleshooting, follow up skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Cinema Experience a strong plus.
