You will report to the European Operations Manager and you will be accountable for processes to automate and optimize the day to day supply & planning processes, including the forecasting process.

In this function, you will :

Manage the suppliers’ and subcontractors’ relationships in order to establish and achieve important supplier improvement targets in delivery and inventory reduction:

- review and improvement of supply and planning processes,
- optimization of ABC classes and stock availability.
- implementation and control of relevant KPI,
· Maintain and develop sourcing strategies for assigned products.
· Use and improve all available information and tools of the existing SAP system.
· Supervise two teams, being the Planning (in charge of long term optimization of supply and stock situations) and the Purchasing (for the short term, day-to-day on time deliveries).
· Support & develop the technical planning and purchasing expertise of the department.
· Take part to Sales & Operation Planning meeting with our company headquarter.
· Key Objective for 2010/2011: support Supply Chain Leadership Team initiatives, and participate in Supply chain improvement projects to support deployment of new & improved solutions in Europe, with the objectives of improving our customer service level and reduce our Inventories & supply chain costs.


You have a university degree. A stronger experience is required for other degrees.
You have a relevant experience of 5 years in a similar position. You will be expected to be hands on, taking up operational and strategic responsibilities in the supply organization.
You have a people management experience.
You are fluent in French and English.
You have an ERP (SAP is a great advantage) knowledge and possibly a proven experience in a successful implementation.
You are able to manage change processes and to make changes applied through all company’s workflows.
You do have a vision and technical knowledge of completely developed supply chain.
