No. habeas offers permanent contracts with clients who have instructed it to assist them in recruiting new employees and executives. You therefore sign an employment contract directly with habeas’ clients.

habeas likes to keep its candidates informed as soon as possible.  Our staff check applications received daily. Once you have applied, you will receive a response within a few days informing you either that your application is being processed (to allow us time to check suitability for the profile sought or to get back to you by email or phone to clarify certain points) or that your application has been unsuccessful. After this, if your application is pending analysis, you will receive a definitive response as soon as we are able to let you know, i.e. within the next few days or weeks (bearing in mind that, on average, habeas completes its assignments in 10 to 12 weeks). The recruitment process will continue and you will be kept regularly informed, by email or phone, of each of the next steps.

Applying to the client directly makes clear your intention to bypass this working structure and may be frowned upon, even by our clients. We therefore advise you to abide by the established procedure. Nevertheless, should you still decide to apply directly to a client, that client will forward every application to us, in keeping with our role, as our clients commit to this process. Moreover, at regular intervals throughout the process, a tracking chart is sent to the client listing all applications shortlisted for its assignment, so that the client can respond and pursue a particular application if they wish. We operate transparently and, above all, in the interests of our clients and our candidates.

The professional realm in which habeas operates relies heavily on confidentiality. This is made all the more important by the fact that the majority of our candidates are already active on the job market and are turning to us in order to embark upon the next stage in their professional future. This is the main reason why we do not publish our advertisements anonymously but in a transparent way, so that you know the destination of your application because you have the names of habeas’ clients. All our staff are extremely vigilant in respecting this need for confidentiality and, if you have a particular reason to be concerned, you can always contact our office direct by phone.
Every step of the way, habeas provides you with regular follow-up as quickly as possible. In the days following your application for a position, we will inform you by e-mail whether or not we are proceeding with the application. If your application is successful, we take the time to analyse it which, more often than not, will involve us contacting you by telephone in order to discuss particular aspects of your career path, your motivation and/or your expectations. We will then set a date to meet you in person at habeas. Following this meeting, you will be informed within 2 weeks whether or not we are recommending a meeting with you to our client. After your meeting with our client, we will send you feedback as soon as possible once the client has reached a decision. If this interview is positive and you are a shortlisted candidate, you will have to undergo an assessment at habeas and you will notify us of references whom habeas will contact. Your terms of employment will be finalized directly with our client. Once the process is complete, we will provide you with telephone feedback on the content of your assessment.
